Horizontal axis solar trackers...

VMA has partnered with a prominent Solar Industry innovator and will produce a critical component for it's latest project. It's a rugged gear motor assembly which drives a high performance horizontal axis solar tracker that will be installed in several locations across the United States. The trackers follow the sun as it moves on its path through the sky during the day, exposing the solar cells to an increased amount of sunlight and hence producing more electricity (because the cells work best when they are directly facing the sun). The tracker can increase the yield of silicon flat plate panels by as much as 25% compared to fixed installations.
